Who is DeLoachWorks
I am Brandon DeLoach, a graphic designer specializing in brand identity (logo, letterhead, business cards, brochures, post ers), illustrations (digital/hand), web design, sculpting, and painting. My company is DeLoachWorks I create visual identities for companies of all sizes, from large corporations to one-person start-ups. I've helped clients throughout the nation. Although I work from my home office, I have been fortunate to create a awesome network of artist, developers, and others in the design scene, from whom I continue to learn a great deal.
Education
I have a good understanding of design principles and theory. I received my high school diploma from Lovejoy High School in Hampton, GA. I have obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Washington and I am presently attending The Academy of Art to obtain a Masters Degree in Web Design and New Media.
Career
I am currently working for the government as a graphic designer (I have been in this position for the last four years) some of my duties in this position include but are not limited to designing websites, planning and producing corporate reports, producing promotional materials such as displays and brochures, and finding the best way to communicate a message by using print and electronics through evaluating color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and other print techniques.
Skills
My job and desire to learn compels me to stay up-to-date with all required software (Adobe Suite- Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.) necessary to complete various design projects and I work with them on a daily basis. In addition to Adobe Suite, I am also proficient in HTML/CSS and I am continuously advancing my knowledge in other web languages.
Passions
My passion for the Arts has always been supported by my family and friends and they continue to motivate and inspire me. I am proud to announce that I have been happily married for two years and I have one wonderful son who is 5 months. With this strong support system behind me, I strive to be the BEST artist I can be with every project- be it small or large.
